Fitted with a head with a 60 mm diameter, this hammer-in plug ensures stability and strength in thermal insulation applications in residential and commercial building and in renovation. The range includes the 10 mm diameter in various lengths, to suit variable thicknesses of insulation and substrate.

Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.

What it is for

Used for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for thermal insulation of walls, roofs and pipework.

How to use it

Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.

Where it is used

Residential construction

Renovation

Technical data

Features: Plastic wall plug; iron pin; 60 mm diameter

Material: Plastic body, iron pin

Head diameter (mm): 60

Nominal diameter (mm): 10

Compatible supports: Concrete, solid and hollow masonry

Who it is for

Designed for insulation installers, bricklayers and construction workers.

Related products

Insulation anchor IS-CE PP Bossong

Insulation anchor IS Bossong

Multi-material drill bits Milwaukee — from the category Multi-Material Drill Bits

Compact cordless drill driver 18V XR brushless DeWalt DCD794P2T-QW — from the category Drill Drivers

Professional drywall drill Master Profil Pavan — from the category Other Drywall Tools

Browse the whole category: Plasterboard and Insulation Fixings

Before you order

In your request, please state the diameter and the quantities required, so we can give you the right quotation first time.

For prices and availability, request a quote from AMES Srl: we will reply with our quotation, delivery times and, where needed, an equivalent technical alternative.
