With wheels of these sizes they are suited to light ropes and cords, not to construction-site lifting. The wheel material matters: brass generally resists damp better than zamak.

Pulleys, hoists and winches are devices for lifting or pulling loads with ropes or chains, reducing effort through mechanical advantage or a motor.

What it is for

Used for lifting loads, with accessories rated for the weight involved.

How to use it

Check that the capacity of the device and of the attachment point exceeds the load, and hang it from a solid structure with the hook safety latch closed. Lift slowly, with the load hanging vertically below the attachment point, and never stand underneath. Before use, check the rope or chain, hooks and brake, and carry out the periodic inspections required for lifting equipment.

Where it is used

Building maintenance

Who it is for

Designed for building maintenance operatives and industrial maintenance technicians.

Related products

Screw pulleys

Nylon pulley

Welded Round Rings — from the category Chains and Accessories

Round polyester ropes — from the category Lifting Slings

Non-swivel lifting hook DLH Probst — from the category Lifting and Towing Hooks

Browse the whole category: Pulley Blocks and Hoists

Before you order

Tell us the quantities you need and the intended use: if there is a more suitable version, or an equivalent available sooner, we will let you know.

For prices and availability, request a quote from AMES Srl: we will reply with our quotation, delivery times and, where needed, an equivalent technical alternative.
