The pair covers the two most common demolition tasks: the pointed chisel for localised, concentrated breaking, the flat one for stripping and finishing surfaces. The set has a total weight of approximately 1.536 kg.

A demolition chisel is a steel tool with an SDS-Plus, SDS-Max or hex shank that, fitted to a hammer, breaks up concrete, masonry and tiles.

What it is for

Used for demolishing masonry and concrete structures, for light demolition, chasing and localised removal and for chiselling concrete, masonry and plaster.

How to use it

Choose the shape: pointed for breaking, flat or spade for scaling and removing tiles, channel for chasing. Grease the shank, insert it into the chuck of the hammer set to chiselling only and work letting the machine's weight do the job, without using the chisel as a lever. Wear safety glasses, gloves and ear defenders, and have the chisel resharpened or replace it when the cutting edge is worn.

Where it is used

Demolition

Renovation

Technical data

Width (cm): 5

Height (cm): 5

Weight (kg): 1,536

Chisel length (mm): 400

Application material: Concrete

Pieces per pack: 2

Shank connection: SDS MAX

Length (cm): 42,5

Pack: Label

Who it is for

Designed for demolition operatives, bricklayers and construction workers.

Related products

Set of demolition chisels, 3 pieces, DeWalt DT60330-QZ

SDS-Plus chisel, DeWalt DT6806-QZ

Demolition hammer SDS-Max 54V XR Flexvolt, brushless motor, impact energy 27.0J - 3 XR Flexvolt 9Ah batteries DCH911X3-QW DeWalt — from the category Demolition Hammers

Cordless rotary hammer SDS-Plus XR FlexVolt 54 V 6.0 Ah brushless DeWalt DCH323T2-QW — from the category Rotary Hammers

Safety glasses ET 81 BS — from the category Safety Glasses, Goggles and Face Shields

Browse the whole category: Demolition Chisels

Before you order

In your request, please state the length, the connection type and the quantities required, so we can give you the right quotation first time.

For prices and availability, request a quote from AMES Srl: we will reply with our quotation, delivery times and, where needed, an equivalent technical alternative.
