It has a male thread at the base, which screws onto the manhole of the tank, and a female thread at the top for the screw cap already supplied with the tank. The models are PP30 (Ø 300 mm, inspection 210), PP35 (Ø 435, inspection 300), PP45 (Ø 535, inspection 400) and the RIM versions with an adapter for reinforced tanks, PP35RIM and PP60RIM.

Water system accessories are the components that complete a tank- or pump-fed water system: foot valves, pressure vessels, tank connectors, nipples, fittings and tank extensions.

What it is for

Used for water drainage, for filtering system water and in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.

How to use it

Choose diameters and threads compatible with the tank, pump and pipework, and seal threads with tape or a sealant approved for water. Fit tank connectors by drilling the tank wall at the designated point and tightening the seals without overstressing the plastic. Pre-charge the pressure vessel to the pressure required by the system and check it periodically; the foot valve goes on the suction line, raised off the bottom so it does not draw in sludge.

Where it is used

Agriculture

Professional landscaping and gardening

Building services

Water engineering works

Technical data

Type: Screw extension for underground tanks

Material: one-piece linear high-density polyethylene (LLDPE)

Height (mm): 300

Connection: male thread at the base, female thread at the top for a screw cap

Model: PP30, PP35, PP35RIM, PP45, PP60RIM

Diameter (mm): PP30: 300; PP35: 435; PP35RIM: 300; PP45: 535; PP60RIM: 535

Who it is for

Designed for gardeners, plumbers, agricultural workers and heating and plumbing engineers.

Standards and safety

Drinking water certificate (downloadable document available)

Related products

Telescopic extension Rototec

Hinged extension Rototec

Vertical outdoor tanks – VERTIGO range, Rototec — from the category Outdoor Tanks

Water pressure booster system with polyethylene tank and submersible pump Rototec — from the category Clean Water Pumps

Semi-perforated rubber gaskets — from the category Sealing Fittings

Browse the whole category: Water Accessories

Before you order

In your request, please state the diameter, the connection type and the quantities required, so we can give you the right quotation first time.

For prices and availability, request a quote from AMES Srl: we will reply with our quotation, delivery times and, where needed, an equivalent technical alternative.
