Designed for installers, plumbing and heating engineers and building companies that require reliable performance without pre-drilling.

Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for fixing into plasterboard and lightweight partitions.

How to use it

Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.

Where it is used

Residential construction

Building services

Renovation

Technical data

Drive: TX25

Wall plug diameter x length: 10x80

Recommended screw diameter: 3,5

Head diameter: 16

Colour: Grey, white, black, copper

RAL: 7045, 9003, 9017, 8004

Material: Nylon

Who it is for

Designed for drywall installers, insulation installers, electricians and plumbers.

Related products

Nylon plug with galvanised TPS Pozidriv screw Unifix

Nylon plug - body only, Unifix

Universal multi-material bit DeWalt DT6516-QZ — from the category Multi-Material Drill Bits

Cordless drill driver 18V lithium 4.0Ah (FMC600M2S) (FMC600M2S) Stanley — from the category Drill Drivers

Professional drywall drill Master Profil Pavan — from the category Other Drywall Tools

Browse the whole category: Plasterboard and Insulation Fixings

Before you order

In your request, please state the colour, the diameter and the quantities required, so we can give you the right quotation first time.

For prices and availability, request a quote from AMES Srl: we will reply with our quotation, delivery times and, where needed, an equivalent technical alternative.
