Leica Pegasus:WebViewer Data Sharing Tool (Leica) — Browser independent data sharing from the cloud for faster project delivery The Leica Pegasus:WebViewer is the new web browser independent data sharing platform for mobile mapping data captured with Leica Geosystems mobile sensor platforms. With easy access to this cloud-based software, you can now view and share your data at anytime from anywhere, enabling faster visualisation, delivery and invoicing of your captured data through cloud storage. The Pegasus:WebViewer allows point cloud renderings in any browser without the need to install additional plug-ins. The seamless 360° images and frame imagery can be visualised calibrated with the point cloud and can be used either for navigation or for measurement. Storing the data in the cloud on the WebViewer server provides data security through user selected security profiles administered at the WebViewer server. You control who can access which data and at what level of access. The latest release of Leica Pegasus:Manager includes integrated publishing and uploading of your captured data directly from the Pegasus:MapFactory post-processing workflow to the WebViewer server. Anyone, at any skill level, will feel confident reviewing the data in the browser of their choice. The WebViewer eliminates the shipping of hard drives to your clients and the installation of individual desktop viewing solutions. The WebViewer provides full visualisation support for panoramic and frame images, and various measurement capabilities (3D, horizontal and vertical) for LiDAR data. It also provides LiDAR data as a depth map to the images. Through the inherent system calibration, images and point clouds can be seen in one overlaid view, which can be used for navigation or to create transverse profiles, increasing the efficiency of daily data handling and extractions.
