Automatic centre punch Fervi 0733

What it is

The Fervi 0733 automatic centre punch is a tool with an internal striking mechanism that allows the drilling point to be marked with one hand, with no need for a hammer. The length of 140 mm offers a comfortable grip and good control, while the low weight of 0.10 kg makes it easy to handle even in repeated, prolonged work.

Scribers and punches are steel hand tools for marking lines and centres on metal, stamping letters and numbers and driving out pins.

What it is for

Used for industrial marking of parts and materials and for marking out lines, dimensions and reference points before work begins.

How to use it

Scribe the line with the scriber held against a rule or square; place the centre punch on the point and strike it with a hammer to guide the drill bit. Hold letter and number punches square to the workpiece, resting on a rigid base, and strike them once, firmly. Choose pin punches to match the diameter of the pin to be driven out.
