What it is for

Used for drilling a range of materials, with the right bit for the substrate and for laying tiles and slabs, from spreading the adhesive to grouting.

How to use it

Always drill without hammer action, starting the hole with a guide template or with the bit angled so it does not skate on the glaze, then straighten up. Cool glass and tile bits with water; use diamond core bits, including those with an angle grinder fitting, dry or wet depending on the type, with a slight oscillating movement to clear debris. Work with light pressure so as not to overheat the diamond.
