The horizontal brace is a horizontal stiffening element fitted between two uprights of the scaffold tower to shorten its unsupported span and make it more rigid.

How to use it

Fit it at the height indicated in the manual, hooking it onto the uprights and checking that it is locked. It must be fitted before climbing to the upper platforms. Do not use it as a step or as a support for loads.
