Impact Sockets

Sockets for power drivers are the heads fitted to the tool for tightening and loosening nuts, bolts and hex-head screws. Unlike manual socket wrenches, they are designed for cordless drivers and impact wrenches, and so to withstand the machine's impulses.
Types in the collection
- Impact sockets with square drive (1/2", 3/4"), in chrome-molybdenum steel, short and long.
- Hex-shank sockets for cordless drivers and drills, including magnetic or double-ended.
- Plastic-coated socket sets, which prevent metal contact with the surface of the workpiece.
- Adapters, reducers and socket holders for switching from one drive to another, for example from 1/4" hex to 1/4" square.
How to choose
Check the wrench size in millimetres, the drive of the driver (1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" square or hex) and the length: long sockets reach recessed nuts. With impact wrenches you need impact sockets, not those for manual use. Magnetic versions hold the nut or screw in place when starting.
