What it is
The Awelco 5500-E auto-darkening welding helmet (code 95700) protects the welder's eyes with precision and comfort, ensuring optimum visibility at every stage of the job. Designed for professionals working with MMA, TIG or MIG/MAG welding machines, it suits environments where safety and responsiveness are priorities.
Welding protection includes welding helmets, goggles and dark or clear lenses that protect the eyes and face from arc radiation, sparks, spatter and flying particles.

How to use it
Choose the filter shade according to the process and welding current, following the manufacturer's table; clear goggles are only for grinding and non-arc work. Adjust the headgear so that the helmet stays in place and fully covers the face while the arc is struck. Check lenses and filter plates before use and replace any that are scratched, cracked or spattered.
