Semi-static rope Axis 11 mm Custom Petzl

What it is

AXIS 11 mm CUSTOM is a Petzl semi-static rope, compliant with EN 1891. It is intended for professional use in work at height, rope access and rescue, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

The rope is a cable of braided synthetic fibres, sold by the metre, in coils or already terminated with sewn eyes, used for work at height as a safety, access or rest line. It can be semi-static, with little stretch, or dynamic, which absorbs part of the energy of a fall.

What it is for

Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.

How to use it

Choose the type according to the application: semi-static for access and rope positioning, dynamic where a fall is anticipated. Connect it with suitable terminations and connectors and protect it from sharp edges, heat, solvents and abrasion. Before every use, check its whole length for cuts, fraying, bulges and stiff spots. A rope that has held a fall or is in doubt is withdrawn from service; store it clean and dry.
