What it is
CHEST'AIR (code C098AA00) is a Petzl fall arrest and work positioning harness, compliant with EN 361, EN 358, EN 813. It is intended for professional use in work at height, rope access and rescue, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
A fall arrest harness is personal protective equipment with leg loops, shoulder straps and attachment points that holds the body in the event of a fall when working at height.
What it is for
Used for work at height on roofs, scaffolding and structures, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.
How to use it
Put it on by stepping into the leg loops and pulling on the shoulder straps, fasten the buckles and adjust it so that it fits snugly without constricting, with the dorsal attachment point level with the shoulder blades. Always connect to the designated attachment point, with a lanyard and energy absorber or a self-retracting device, to a suitable anchor. Before each use, check webbing, stitching and buckles; after a fall, the harness must be taken out of service.
