Tensioner CSC Edilizia 438C

What it is

The CSC Edilizia 438C turnbuckle is a tension adjustment device for steel wire ropes used in anchoring and lifeline systems. It is made of galvanised steel, a treatment that guarantees protection against corrosion and suitability for use in exposed environments, with machining in accordance with the general tolerances of the UNI-ISO 2768 standard.

The tensioner is the element that adjusts the tension of the lifeline cable.

What it is for

Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.

How to use it

Fit it at the ends of the cable and adjust the tension to the value indicated by the manufacturer. Check it periodically, as the cable may slacken. Have it inspected by qualified personnel.
