Energy absorber with tension indicator CSC Edilizia 424

What it is

The energy absorber with tension indicator CSC Edilizia 424 is a component of lifeline systems designed to absorb energy under load and to signal, by means of the tension indicator, the load state of the system. It is made of S235JR steel (Fe 360 B) with a galvanised treatment that improves its corrosion resistance, in accordance with the general tolerances of the UNI-ISO 2768 standard. It has a coil opening of 3 mm and a preload of 100 kg, parameters that define its functional behaviour within the fall protection system.

Lifeline accessories are certified components (rails and profiles, cables, shackles, bases, spacers and spares) for building and completing horizontal and vertical fall protection systems.

What it is for

Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.

How to use it

Use only compatible components specified by the system manufacturer, in accordance with the lifeline design. Installation must be carried out by a qualified installer, fixing bases and profiles to the structure with the specified anchors and issuing the installation documentation. Inspect the system before use and have it examined at the required intervals; after a fall, the components involved must be taken out of service.
