What it is

The DeWalt D25902K-QS is a corded demolition hammer with an SDS-Max fitting, designed for heavy-duty demolition. It draws 1550 W and is fitted with a vibration control system for more comfortable use in prolonged work. With a weight of 10.5 kg and dimensions of 650 mm long, 250 mm high and 127 mm wide, it is sized for intensive jobs on site.

A demolition hammer is a corded or cordless percussion-only power tool that uses chisels to break up concrete, masonry, render and floors.

What it is for

Used for demolishing masonry and concrete structures, for controlled demolition, where clean cuts and low vibration are required and for chiselling concrete, masonry and plaster.

How to use it

Insert the clean, greased chisel into the tool holder until it clicks and check that it is locked. Hold the tool with both hands, let the weight of the machine do the work without pushing, and work in short sections, angling the chisel to break away the material. Wear safety glasses, hearing protection, a dust mask and anti-vibration gloves, and take breaks to limit vibration exposure.
