What it is
The continuous-wire MIG/MAG inverter welder Awelco Multiprocess inverter welder MMA/MIG/FLUX/TIG MULTI MIKRO 160 Awelco (code 59065) combines operating versatility and ease of use in a compact format, designed for professionals and hobbyists who need a reliable solution for precision welding on mild steel, stainless steel and thin sheet. Designed to run on a 230V single-phase supply, it supports MIG/MAG, MMA (electrode) and TIG processes with the dedicated accessories, adapting to varied needs in the workshop, on site or in the laboratory.
A MIG/MAG welder is a power source that feeds a continuous wire through the torch, either gas-shielded or gasless flux-cored; this family includes wires and gas cylinders.
What it is for
Used in steel fabrication, from cutting to assembly and in welding and the work that goes with it.
How to use it
Fit the spool and check that the drive rolls and contact tip match the wire diameter; for solid wire, connect a cylinder of the shielding gas suited to the material, while gasless flux-cored wire does not need one. Clamp the earth to the clean workpiece, set the voltage and wire feed speed and weld keeping the torch at a constant distance. Clean spatter from the nozzle and tip frequently, and work with a welding helmet, gloves and good ventilation.
