It is suitable for creating warning signage (rumble strips) by means of strips placed transversely to the direction of travel, on road sections where maximum caution is required (schools, dangerous intersections, etc.). It consists of a 5 mm thick laminated strip (dentelle) and a 1.2 mm thick anchoring sheet (substrate). The rumble strips are applied in series of 5 – 7 – 10 strips at a variable distance of 50 to 70 cm between the centers of each strip. The acoustic and vibratory effect is caused by the series of elevation changes that any vehicle experiences when encountering the rumble strips.
