What it is

The TRIS 280 MMA inverter welder by Awelco (code N18445) is designed for professionals who require precision and reliability in stick electrode welding. How to use it

Fit the spool and check that the drive rolls and contact tip match the wire diameter; for solid wire, connect a cylinder of the shielding gas suited to the material, while gasless flux-cored wire does not need one. Clamp the earth to the clean workpiece, set the voltage and wire feed speed and weld keeping the torch at a constant distance. Clean spatter from the nozzle and tip frequently, and work with a welding helmet, gloves and good ventilation.
