Climbing glove Cordex, Petzl

What it is

CORDEX is a Petzl accessory. It is intended for professional use in work at height, rope access and rescue, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

A work glove is hand protection in leather, fabric, nitrile, latex or PVC against abrasion, dirt, liquids and minor cuts.

What it is for

Used for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and to protect hands from cuts, abrasions, impacts and chemicals.

How to use it

Choose the material according to the job: nitrile or PVC for oils and wet work, leather for heavy handling, coated fabric for precision work. Wear the correct size to maintain grip, and avoid wearing gloves near rotating parts that could catch them. Replace when holed, worn or soaked through.
