What it is
The CSC Edilizia 119 UA straight post is a structural element for safety guardrails, made of S235JR (Fe 360 B) steel. It is made from 8 mm thick sheet and has two fixing holes, in accordance with the general tolerances of UNI-ISO 2768. It forms the straight upright on which the perimeter protection is built.
Posts, bases, joints, end caps and profiles are the components from which a guardrail is assembled: they support the rails and toe boards and connect them to each other and to the structure.
What it is for
Used for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system and for protecting edges and corners.
How to use it
Choose components from the same system that are compatible with one another. Fit them following the manufacturer's manual, tightening the screws and fixing the bases with anchors suited to the substrate. Do not leave gaps between one element and the next. Periodically check tightness and corrosion.
