What it is
The DeWalt DFM1110660 PTB universal expansion anchor is a mechanical anchor with an M12 thread and a length of 165 mm, designed to produce solid fixings even where substrate thicknesses are considerable. The expansion mechanism generates holding power that increases under load, ensuring stable anchorages where strength and safety are required.
Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.
What it is for

How to use it
Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
