Rotary hammer SDS-Plus 14mm XR 12V - bare unit DeWalt DCH072NT-XJ

What it is

The DeWalt DCH072NT-XJ is the bare-unit version of the compact SDS-Plus rotary hammer from the 12 V XR range. With an SDS-Plus connection and a no-load speed of 910 rpm, it ensures hammer drilling in masonry up to 14 mm, plus declared capacities of 10 mm in metal and 13 mm in wood. Very light – 1.7 kg in weight, 176 mm in height and 76 mm in width – it is the ideal tool for working in tight spaces and overhead. It is battery-powered for maximum freedom of movement.

A rotary hammer drills concrete, masonry and stone by combining rotation and percussion, with an SDS-Plus, SDS-Max or compressed-air connection.

What it is for

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Use a detector to make sure there are no cables or pipes at the drilling point. Insert the clean, greased bit until it clicks, set the depth stop and select the operating mode. Drill with the tool held square to the surface using both hands, withdrawing the bit from time to time to clear the dust, and wear safety glasses, a dust mask and hearing protection.
