Hand sanitising gel is a gel product, usually alcohol-based, applied to the skin to reduce germs without using water.

What it is for

Used for food handling, where food-contact materials are required and for sanitising rooms, surfaces and equipment.

How to use it

Pour a small amount into the palm and rub it onto dry hands, between palms, backs of hands, fingers and wrists, until it dries. Use it when hands cannot be washed with soap and water, but it does not replace washing if hands are visibly dirty. Keep away from flames, eyes and children.
