A masonry saw bench is a bench-mounted machine with a diamond blade, usually water-cooled, for accurately cutting tiles, bricks, blocks and stone.
What it is for
Used for cutting clay bricks and blocks, for cutting building materials, from clay brick to concrete and for cutting natural and engineered stone.
How to use it
Set the machine on a level surface, fill the water tray if fitted and check that the blade is suited to the material and fitted in the direction of rotation. Place the workpiece on the sliding table against the fence, start the blade and feed it into the material without forcing. Connect it to a socket protected by an RCD, wear safety glasses and ear defenders, and clean the slurry out of the tray at the end of the day.
