Anchor Ring, Ring Open, Petzl

What it is

RING OPEN (code M028AA00) is a Petzl anchor device, compliant with EN 795. It is intended for professional use in work at height, rope access and rescue, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

A fall protection anchor is the fixed point, permanent or mobile, to which the worker's fall arrest or rope access system is connected.

What it is for

Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for roof maintenance.

How to use it

Choose the type according to the substrate (concrete, rock, steel, beam, vehicle) and install it following the manufacturer's instructions, using the specified fixings. Check its condition before use and connect with a connector, preferably above the worker's head. Take into account the fall clearance below the work position; an anchor that has arrested a fall must be taken out of service.
