Connector Eashook Open Petzl

What it is

EASHOOK OPEN (code M043AA00) is a Petzl connector, compliant with EN 362. It is intended for professional use in work at height, rope access and rescue, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

A connector is a steel or aluminium karabiner or quick link that joins harness, lanyards and anchors in fall arrest and rope access systems.

What it is for

Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.

How to use it

Choose a connector with a screw-lock or auto-locking gate suited to the application and check the conformity marking. Clip it so that the load acts along the major axis, never on the gate or crosswise, and always close the sleeve or check that the locking mechanism has engaged. Before each use, check the gate, spring and locking mechanism, and discard the connector after a fall or if it is deformed.
