Rope Access Devices

Rope access devices are the equipment that allows you to climb, descend and work suspended safely using rope access techniques: ascenders, handled ascenders, pulleys, karabiners, fall arresters and descenders. They are used by people working at height, in acrobatic work, in the maintenance of facades and roofs and in tree pruning.

Types in the collection

• Ascenders and handled ascenders, for climbing along the rope, with right-hand or left-hand grip.
• Pulleys and karabiner pulleys, to reduce friction and to redirect or lift loads.
• Karabiners, to connect the components of the system.
• Guided fall arresters on a flexible line, which follow the operator along the rope.
• Battery-powered winches and evacuation kits, to ascend or to recover an operator.

How to choose

Start from the type of work and the rope you will use, because each device is approved for a range of diameters and uses. These products are personal protective equipment: they must be used by trained personnel and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
