What it is

The electrostatic powder gun charges the coating powder as it leaves the nozzle, so that it adheres to the earthed metal workpiece. The charge is obtained with high voltage (corona effect) or by friction (tribo). It may be hand-held or mounted on an automatic system.

Used for coating wood, metal and masonry surfaces.
How to use it
The workpiece to be coated, metallic, clean and degreased, must be earthed. Connect the gun to the powder feed and to clean, dry compressed air, and adjust the powder flow and charge. Spray at a constant distance in a booth with extraction, and the workpiece then goes into the oven for curing. Work with a dust mask and with the gun disconnected during cleaning.
