Scrapers

Scrapers are used to remove residues from surfaces: paint, glue, filler, mortar, plaster and dried-on dirt. They are used in building, joinery and maintenance. In this collection you will find scrapers from Pavan, Rubi, Co.Me, Mass, Stanley, Makita and Vigor.

Types included

• Joiner's scrapers, with a rigid hardened steel blade, for removing paint and finishing wood.
• Glass scrapers and multi-purpose scrapers with replaceable blades.
• Floor scrapers, with a long handle, for removing glue and coverings without bending down.
• Plaster scrapers, for working and cleaning fresh surfaces.
• Spares: blades, abrasive cloths and handles.

How to choose

Choose the width and rigidity of the blade according to the job: a rigid blade for hard materials, a more flexible one for delicate surfaces. For floor work you need the long handle. If you use the tool a lot, a model with replacement blades is worthwhile.
