What it is

A scraper is a hand tool with a steel or plastic blade for removing paint, adhesive, wallpaper and residues, and for finishing wood and parquet.
What it is for
Used for preparing surfaces before treatment, for site cleaning and for cleaning hard surfaces before treatment or at the end of the job.
How to use it
Hold the blade at an angle and push or pull with even pressure, without scoring the surface underneath; on wood and parquet, use a rigid scraper with a sharp blade. Soften stubborn paint and adhesive first with paint stripper or a hot air gun. Replace blades and sanding sheets when they are worn.
