What it is
The light post with double-pitch base, type C, CSC Edilizia 605 is an upright for lifeline systems, with a base shaped to rest on double-pitched sloping roofs. It is made of S235JR (Fe 360 B) structural steel, a material chosen for its strength and dimensional stability, and is provided with eight holes for plate fixing, with machining compliant with the general tolerances of the UNI-ISO 2768 standard.
Lifeline anchors are certified posts, brackets and fixed points that are secured to the roof or structure for attaching lifelines and fall arrest devices.
What it is for
Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.
How to use it
They are installed to design by a qualified installer, on a verified substrate (timber, concrete, steel, metal sheeting), using the fixings specified by the manufacturer. On completion, the installer issues the declaration and documentation, and the required periodic inspections are carried out. Workers check the anchor before clipping on and do not use it if it is deformed or has already arrested a fall.
