What it is

The DeWalt D23700-QS circular saw is a tool designed for cutting timber on site and in the workshop, where deep, repeatable cuts are needed. It takes a 235 mm diameter blade with a 30 mm bore and reaches a no-load speed of 4700 rpm, for smooth feed through panels and solid timber. The cutting depth reaches 86 mm at 90 degrees and 62 mm in bevel cuts at 45 degrees, while the output power of 960 W ensures constant torque even in the densest materials.

How to use it

Fit the blade suited to the material, observing the direction of rotation, set the depth just beyond the material thickness and clamp the workpiece. Start the blade before it touches the workpiece and feed steadily along the line or guide rail, without forcing or lifting the machine during the cut. Check that the lower guard always returns to its position, wear safety glasses and ear defenders, and connect dust extraction whenever possible.
