What it is
The DeWalt DWF4010013 pack contains 1000+1 drywall screws in the 55x3.5 mm size, with coarse thread and bit included. The 55 mm length, among the longest in the range, makes them suitable for fixing double or triple-layer boards to a timber frame, ensuring deep, stable anchoring thanks to the coarse thread. The generous pack size is designed for demanding installation work.
Drywall screws are countersunk screws, loose or collated, for fixing plasterboard to metal studs or timber battens.
What it is for
Used for fixing into plasterboard and lightweight partitions, for installing plasterboard partitions and suspended ceilings and for installing partition walls.
How to use it
Use fine-thread or self-drilling screws on metal studs and coarse-thread screws on timber. Drive with a drywall screwdriver or with a depth stop, stopping when the head is just below the surface without tearing the paper facing. Observe the fixing centres specified by the board system.
