What it is

The 5-piece plasterboard bit set PR2 DeWalt DT7206-QZ is designed specifically for driving screws into plasterboard sheets, one of the most frequent tasks on finishing sites and in the construction of partition walls and suspended ceilings. The pack contains 5 pieces, each 153 mm long, an extended length that allows comfortable working even with screw guns fitted with a depth stop.

The bit set is an assortment of screwdriving bits with different drive profiles and sizes, often with a magnetic bit holder and case, to keep the most commonly used sizes to hand.

What it is for

Used for repetitive screwdriving into wood, metal and plasterboard, where torque and consistency matter and for installing plasterboard partitions and suspended ceilings.

How to use it

Choose the bit with the drive profile and size of the screw, push it into the bit holder and check that it has no play. After use, put the bits back in their slots, in size order. Replace worn bits or those with a rounded profile. For impact drivers, use bits designated for that use.
