The rescue stretcher is a rigid or semi-rigid support on which an injured person is laid and secured in order to be moved, lowered or raised.

What it is for

Used for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.

How to use it

The injured person is laid on it and secured with the straps provided, checking that they are firmly fastened. The stretcher is connected to the lifting points and moved with suitable ropes and anchors, slowly and with an escort. This is done only by trained personnel, who inspect the stretcher after every use.
