Ascender handle ASCENSION Petzl

What it is

ASCENSION is a Petzl ascender, compliant with EN 567 and EN 12841. It is intended for professional use in work at height, rope access and rescue, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

The ascender handle is a rope clamp with a handgrip, which slides along the rope in one direction and locks in the other, and is used by hand to climb the rope.

What it is for

Used for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.

How to use it

Install it on the rope in the direction of assembly marked on the body and connect it to the harness or the foot loop with a lanyard and a connector. Move it upward with your hand and put your weight on it to climb. Before loading, carry out a locking test; after use, check the teeth, cam and rope.
