What it is
The CSC Edilizia 800-80C sheet metal anchor is a lifeline device for fixing on metal roofs, made of aluminium with a low weight of 6.80 kg. With a length of 800 mm and 18 holes of Ø5.6 mm distributed at a maximum pitch of 335 mm, it spreads the stresses along an extended profile. Production follows the general tolerances of UNI-ISO 2768, a guarantee of dimensional accuracy.
Lifeline anchors are certified posts, brackets and fixed points that are secured to the roof or structure for attaching lifelines and fall arrest devices.
What it is for
Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for roof maintenance and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.
How to use it
They are installed to design by a qualified installer, on a verified substrate (timber, concrete, steel, metal sheeting), using the fixings specified by the manufacturer. On completion, the installer issues the declaration and documentation, and the required periodic inspections are carried out. Workers check the anchor before clipping on and do not use it if it is deformed or has already arrested a fall.
