What it is
The CSC Edilizia 800-03C sheet metal anchor is a device designed for creating fixing points on sheet metal roofs as part of lifeline systems. It is built in AISI 304 stainless steel, a material chosen for its corrosion resistance, with a low weight of 2 kg. The plate features 240 holes of Ø 5.6 mm that distribute the anchorage, to the general tolerances of UNI-ISO 2768.
Lifeline anchors are certified posts, brackets and fixed points that are secured to the roof or structure for attaching lifelines and fall arrest devices.
What it is for
Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for roof maintenance and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.
How to use it
They are installed to design by a qualified installer, on a verified substrate (timber, concrete, steel, metal sheeting), using the fixings specified by the manufacturer. On completion, the installer issues the declaration and documentation, and the required periodic inspections are carried out. Workers check the anchor before clipping on and do not use it if it is deformed or has already arrested a fall.
