What it is
The CSC Edilizia 608-608C external corner anchor is an element designed to handle changes of direction in lifeline systems at external corners. It measures 36 × 36 × 6 cm and weighs 3.4 kg, and is made of S235JR (Fe 360 B) steel with a galvanised treatment, to the general tolerances of UNI-ISO 2768.
Lifeline anchors are certified posts, brackets and fixed points that are secured to the roof or structure for attaching lifelines and fall arrest devices.
What it is for
Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for roof maintenance and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.
How to use it
They are installed to design by a qualified installer, on a verified substrate (timber, concrete, steel, metal sheeting), using the fixings specified by the manufacturer. On completion, the installer issues the declaration and documentation, and the required periodic inspections are carried out. Workers check the anchor before clipping on and do not use it if it is deformed or has already arrested a fall.
