What it is

DeWalt DWF4100650 collated screws are designed for the rapid fixing of plasterboard sheets to supporting structures. Each pack contains 1000 screws in size 25x3.9 mm, a compact size particularly suited to fixing standard boards to metal framing or battens. The collated strip format lets the screws be loaded directly into a compatible autofeed screwdriver, cutting downtime and keeping up a steady work rate on large sites.

Collated drywall screws are phosphated screws mounted on a plastic strip, for use with autofeed screwdrivers to fix boards to studs and battens.

What it is for

Used for fixing into plasterboard and lightweight partitions, for installing plasterboard partitions and suspended ceilings and for installing partition walls.

How to use it

Choose fine thread for metal studs and coarse thread for timber, with a length suited to the board thickness. Load the strip into the screwdriver's magazine and set the depth so that the head sits just below the surface without tearing the paper facing. Drive the screws at regular spacing along the stud.
