What it is

DeWalt DWF4100850 collated plasterboard screws are a professional consumable designed for fixing boards to load-bearing structures. The pack contains 1000 pieces in size 45x3.9 mm: the extra length makes these screws suitable when you need to go through double boards or reach the supporting framework at depth, ensuring a solid grip. The collated format is designed for use with compatible autofeed screwdrivers, which noticeably speed up serial installation.

Collated drywall screws are phosphated screws mounted on a plastic strip, for use with autofeed screwdrivers to fix boards to studs and battens.

What it is for

Used for fixing into plasterboard and lightweight partitions, for installing plasterboard partitions and suspended ceilings and for installing partition walls.

How to use it

Choose fine thread for metal studs and coarse thread for timber, with a length suited to the board thickness. Load the strip into the screwdriver's magazine and set the depth so that the head sits just below the surface without tearing the paper facing. Drive the screws at regular spacing along the stud.
