Evacuation and rescue devices are escape kits, automatic descenders, rescue pulleys and accessories for bringing a person stranded at height safely to the ground.

What it is for

Used for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.

How to use it

Prepare the rescue plan before starting work and keep the device ready near the workstation. Anchor it to a point of adequate strength and connect it to the casualty's harness; carry out the descent or recovery quickly and in a controlled way to limit suspension time. It must be used only by trained personnel and inspected periodically and after every rescue.
