Counter-plate for wide base CSC Edilizia 601N

What it is

The backing plate for widened base CSC Edilizia 601N is a reinforcement component for lifeline systems, paired with the widened base of anchor posts to distribute loads onto the substrate. It is made of S235JR steel (Fe 360 B) to the tolerances of UNI-ISO 2768, with a weight of 1.15 kg. Its slotting is elaborate: eight 14.5x28.5 mm slots and eight 14.5x10 mm slots, which offer great flexibility in coupling and fixing to the structure.

The backing plate is the plate placed on the opposite side of the structure from the base or anchor, to spread the load when the through bolts are tightened.

What it is for

Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.

How to use it

Position it on the opposite side of the fixing point and tighten it with the screws provided to the stated torque. Check that it sits snugly against the structure.
