Counter-plate for wide, double base for rigid post CSC Edilizia 473

What it is

The CSC Edilizia 473 counterplate is the load-spreading element paired with the widened and double bases for rigid anchorages of lifeline systems. It is made from S235JR steel (Fe 360 B) with 10 mm thick plate, to UNI-ISO 2768 general tolerances.

The backing plate is the plate placed on the opposite side of the structure from the base or anchor, to spread the load when the through bolts are tightened.

What it is for

Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.

How to use it

Position it on the opposite side of the fixing point and tighten it with the screws provided to the stated torque. Check that it sits snugly against the structure.
