What it is
The CSC Edilizia 601U counterplate is the reinforcing element paired with component 601D in lifeline anchoring systems. Made from S235JR steel (Fe 360 B) with a weight of 0.20 kg, it is fitted on the opposite side of the structure to counter and tighten the fixing; the Ø12.5 mm hole ensures precise coupling with the corresponding element. Machining is carried out to tolerances compliant with UNI-ISO 2768.
The backing plate is the plate placed on the opposite side of the structure from the base or anchor, to spread the load when the through bolts are tightened.
What it is for
Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.
How to use it
Position it on the opposite side of the fixing point and tighten it with the screws provided to the stated torque. Check that it sits snugly against the structure.
