What it is

The backing plate for non-deformable anchors CSC Edilizia 417A is a reinforcement component for lifeline systems, designed to accompany non-deformable anchors in distributing loads onto the structural substrate. It is made of S235JR steel (Fe 360 B) to the general tolerances of UNI-ISO 2768, weighs 1.11 kg, and has two 18x36 mm slots that allow it to be coupled and fixed.

The backing plate is the plate placed on the opposite side of the structure from the base or anchor, to spread the load when the through bolts are tightened.

What it is for

Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.

How to use it

Position it on the opposite side of the fixing point and tighten it with the screws provided to the stated torque. Check that it sits snugly against the structure.
