The CAPTIV positioning bar helps load the carabiner on its major axis, reduces the risk of it flipping, and keeps it integrated with the device. The fluid internal design of OXAN carabiners reduces the risk of a snag point and facilitates carabiner rotation. To ensure maximum efficiency during maneuvers, OXAN carabiners use the Keylock system: the interface, composed of the body and the gate, has no hook to prevent the carabiner from unintentionally snagging on the anchor, rope, harness gear loop, etc. To facilitate equipment checks, carabiners with a manual SCREW-LOCK locking gate are equipped with a red visual indicator, visible only when the carabiner gate is unlocked.
