How to choose
The accessories are specific to Barikell single power trowels: before ordering, please tell us the machine model and the rotor diameter so that we can check compatibility. An unsuitable accessory can make handling less precise and tire the operator, so it is worth checking first. For ride-on power trowels there is a dedicated collection of accessories for double power trowels.

Frequently asked questions: Accessories for single power trowels
What are accessories for single-rotor power floats?
They are the components that complete a single-rotor power float, the machine used to finish concrete floors. The collection includes handles to guide and adjust the work, transport systems to move the machine around the site, and guard rings and stabilisers to fit to the machine. Their use follows the instructions in the power float's manual.
Which handle should I choose for a single-rotor power float: long, short, folding or quick pitch?
The long handle lets you work standing up and cover more surface without bending. The short handle gives more control when working near walls or edges. The quick pitch lets you adjust the blade pitch quickly, while the folding handle reduces bulk during transport. Before buying, check the handle connection on your machine, because not all connections are compatible.
How do I know whether an accessory is compatible with my power float?
The items in the collection come from several brands, Barikell and Breaker, and they do not all fit every machine. Before ordering, check the brand and model of your power float, then compare the connection and the type of adjustment. Hydraulic adjustment, for example, is intended for the Breaker KC 120 power trowel and is not interchangeable with other models. If in doubt, ask the manufacturer for the exact machine model.
What is the openable guard ring for a power float used for?
The guard ring is a ring fitted to the machine as a protective element. The openable version can be opened to fit or remove it more easily. The stabiliser ring, by contrast, gives the machine stability while working. Before starting, always check that each ring is locked in position.
Is a transport system really needed for a single-rotor power float?
Yes, the transport system moves the machine around the site without lifting it by hand, which is tiring and risky. Transport wheels and the transport trolley are useful when the machine has to move from one area to another or leave the working surface. Before loading or lifting it, read the manufacturer's manual and check the weight of the machine.
How do I keep handles and accessories in good condition?
After each use, clean residual concrete off the handles, rings and wheels, because once it hardens it jams the moving parts. Check that screws and connections are tight and that quick pitch handles slide without play. Hydraulic parts, such as the adjustment for the KC 120, should be inspected as set out in the manual. Store accessories in a dry place, to prevent rust on the metal parts.
What are the risks when using a power float with these accessories?
The main risk is losing control of the machine when a handle is loose or an accessory is not fitted properly. Before use, check that the handles and rings are locked and wear the protective equipment required by the employer, such as gloves and safety footwear. The work area should be marked off and kept clear of people. Equipment must be used as set out in the manual and in Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008 on workplace safety.
