Hex, Self-Locking, Dome and Wing Nuts
51 products · Structural Bolts and Screws
Nuts are the threaded elements that, screwed onto bolts and rods, lock the connection. They are used in steel structures, anchors, mechanical assemblies and fixing systems in construction and industry.
Types in the collection
- Hex nuts, galvanised or in A2 stainless steel (Bossong, Unifix)
- Self-locking nuts with nylon insert, to resist vibration
- Dome nuts to protect the end of the thread
- Flange nuts and wing nuts for hand tightening
- Coupling nuts and quick-connect nuts (Unifix, Fischer)
How to choose
The nut must have the same diameter and pitch as the bolt or rod and a strength class suited to the load (for example class 8). For outdoors and damp environments choose galvanised or stainless steel; for points subject to vibration, the self-locking nut; for visible ends, the dome nut. The wing nut is tightened without tools, while the flange nut distributes the load better.
